Investment Deals

Hey Guys,

Still waiting to go on the Property Mentor course, but I just couldn’t wait to tell you this.

One of my tracker deals has gone down to 0.99% a month!

You see, when the Bank of England first made their interest rate cut the other month, I knew it wouldn’t be long before they did it again. So like the sensible investor that I am, I grabbed one of these tracker deals, and waited.

And I am glad I did. I am now paying just 140.25 a month, for a property I invested in for 170,000. It’s fantastic! [...]

Government Property Investment Qualifications

Hey Guys,

Has anyone else heard about the governments new landlord qualification scheme? Talk about adding extra pressure.

As always, I was doing my daily browse on some property investment sites – looking for tips on how to deal with my tenants – when I came across this article, and it really made me think.

I’ve been investing in property for over four years, and a part from a brief course I did at the beginning I’ve actually got no qualifications. I know, I know, I could easily argue that my experience in this field is enough in itself, but I had to admit after reading it I began to wonder – am I missing anything? Could a qualification give me a better edge? [...]

Land Registry can help you

Through my experience in property investment I have learnt some things that I think are valuable to anyone wanting to buy property.  When I buy property I usually make some checks of my own, recently I came across a house that looked empty, the grass hadn’t been mowed in ages, the curtains had fallen and there was no furniture inside.  This was too good an opportunity to miss in such a good area, I asked neighbours about the property and no one knew the owner.

Property of the Week: November 7th

Welcome to “Property of the Week”.

This is a new segment I will be hosting where my original property investment tutors, Property Mentor, recommend a property of the week to me, for you guys.

Usually you would only get this information from their mailing list but I have been given rights to give it to you for free. Bascially we will look at a property available on the market and see how you could make money from this and similar buildings.

Anyway here is the first entry!

———-

property of the weekArea - East London

Property Type – Semi Detached

Number of Bedrooms - 4

Been on the Market – 8 Months

Valuation – £289,950

Monthly Positive Cash Flow – £323/Month

What would you say if we could prove to you that in a few short months the lending market is going to turn? That banks will soon be begging you to invest – would you think we were crazy? Well, it’s true! All of it.
